How do you put your 6 month old down for naps?

Hi,

We're currently going through a bit of a leap I think, I could swaddle, book, lights out, do a quick cuddle and put down but now I have to rock him so he's drowsy otherwise he wails the house down. Any advice or is this normal? x

We were having this problem a few weeks ago with our 6 month old. Always been able to put him down awake but tired for naps and he would fall asleep with 10 minutes but he suddenly started screaming the house down. Turned out his awake window had increased so he just wasn't tired enough anymore, he can now stay awake and extra 45 minutes. I swear it just changed overnight!
