How many layers?

My baby's 1 week old now and our room normally starts off at about 20 degrees and gets down to about 18 overnight when the temp drops.

What do you put your baby in overnight?

We're currently putting him in a sleepsuit and a 2.5 tog sleeping bag but is that too much?

My dd is 10 months so a older but she is currently in pjs and a 2.5 tog sleeping bag or a sleep suit and 2.5 tog sleeping bag. Our room starts at about 21/22 and drops to about 18/19.
The only thing I'd check with a tiny baby is that the sleeping bag is well fitted as they can easily slide down the neck of 0-6 month ones when they are little so blankets might be better for a few weeks.

Thanks @SquirtleSquad that is great!

@Junobug thank you! Yes he is in a Tommie tippee small one so it fits him nicely. We have a 0-6 months one but it's far too big for him!
