Is Ollie the Owl really worth it?

Just the title really!

My 5mo does rely on white noise (currently using 1 hour free app) to drift off (and stay asleep) but is it really worth it?

It is expensive at almost £35 but I would go for it if I knew it was worth it’s price and an investment into my lo’s sleep!

Anybody have one, or similar?

For those of you who don’t know, it’s a white noise cry sensor toy.

Thank you

I have it and the sheep and adjusts ended up downloading a white nose app for an old phone and using it instead. I actually played pink mixed with brown noise. It seemed to work best for my kids. There is an 8hr one on YouTube

Ollie the owl is good - my baby loves the heartbeat setting! However it won't keep the white noise on for very long if that's what you are looking for? Not sure of the exact timings but definitely less than one hour! Also, I tend to just use the one setting so it depends if you will use multiple noises or you need white noise only? X

We got given it as a gift but she doesn't really like it, I use one off YouTube for free on my phone

We had Ewan the dream sheep and my dd loved it, it always helped her get back to sleep if she woke in the night.

It didn't seem to make any difference to my baby's (lack of) sleep.

A friends' baby did like it though, and they ended up dragging the bloody thing everywhere they went to use for naps.

So I'd use white noise on a phone so a) you don't waste money if it doesn't work and b) you don't have to take an owl everywhere with you.
