Started this last Sunday night with dd 15 month old. Not the actual picking her up, but laying her back down.

First 2 nights hell, some improvement next 2 nighjts, but since then it has got worse and worse (now 7 nights in all, and she is as bad if not worse than ever) Whole family exhausted, and dd white, grizzly and shattered.

How long is it meant to take?

i think at least 1 week - my copy of the Baby Whisperer is somewhere (!) - i will check it later

she isn't teething as well is she? DS got 3 molars all at once at this age ...

did you speak to your GP about a referal to sleep clinic?

fizzbuzz · 21/10/2007 11:07

There isn't a sleep referal clinic here. HV came on Friday, and was helpful, but I just don't see any improvement in dd at all

have had a look through the book and can't find a time limit - she says you have to be in it for the long haul
there is a whole section in the book on why it might not be working - you mentioned you were only doing one part of it - perhaps you need to do the PU and PD?
which edition of the book have you got?
