RoRo -- it's a TV programme on CBeebies.

RoRoMommy · 13/11/2007 15:29

Beal, I ask myself that question (re: where did that other girl go b/f baby) all of the time.

Seriously.

I just mentioned, rather offhandedly, to DH about trying and he was like "Woman, you are out of your mind." So I guess the answer is no.

Meg: Oh. My. God. Those little guys are scary! And DS likes this? Your DS is, what, 10 mo?

tibsy · 13/11/2007 15:37

meg dd and i caught it t'other morning. she loved it

Amberjee · 13/11/2007 15:53

when is it on tv tibs/megs?

glad ds is on the mend megs and you guys are back home. must have been horrid being in hospital for that time.

charliemama · 13/11/2007 16:50

DD loves the night garden. Freaks me out a bit. Will tell you aboout funny dream I had about the inflatable things when I get more time.

Amberjee · 13/11/2007 18:07

ok i'm going to watch the night garden, i think it's on at 6.20. errrm, i mean ds is going to watch the night garden

Amberjee · 13/11/2007 18:11

ds is in such an annoying food refusing mood. all he'll eat now is whole apples. (ep, i think your ds has been giving mine tips in the food stakes)
tonight i made him gorgeous roasted squash and parsnip, and potato and salmon fish cake, and i ended up eating it as i hate binning all his food.

oh well. nothing i can do except keep making nice food and watching him refuse it. i guess one day he won't refuse it anymore.

his naps are also all over the place. it's entirely my fault as i've been letting him sleep in (but who wouldn't ) so i don't know when to fit in meals and milk feeds, it's alla bit random at the moment.

can't really complain as i'm getting sleep. it's just like it's a battle of wills at the dinner table and he is winning!

Amberjee · 13/11/2007 18:12

oh ps. the scan is tomorrow, am pretty sure it will be fine.

EffiePerine · 13/11/2007 18:15

Apples are messy, aren't they? I'm sure it will settle down soon - could it be teeth (again)?

Good luck for the scan tomorrow

ChubbyScotsBurd · 13/11/2007 18:23

very brief post (LO having his nightly howlathon and DP's patience audibly thin) to link to my latest post of misery, I know some of you guys are veritable experts

link

Good luck Amber, sure it will be fine, and glad to hear all is on the mend Meg x

Amberjee · 13/11/2007 18:36

oh csb, hope the howlathon is mercifully short.

ep, i actually don't find apples too bad, at least all the bits that are spat out are reasonably easy to collect and don't require clothes changing/floor mopping etc.

Amberjee · 13/11/2007 18:37

could be teeth.

or general willfulness i like to think!

MegBusset · 13/11/2007 19:02

Amber, will be thinking of you tomorrow. ITNG seems to be on CBeebies several times a day (had nothing much to do while in hospital but watch daytime telly with LO!).

Annoyingly, because we were on the children's ward, all the TVs automatically went off at 9pm, presumably so Howie couldn't watch porn while I slept

gingerninja · 13/11/2007 19:50

Just to add that me and DH DD loves In The Night Garden and has her own Iggle Piggle honestly they must send subliminal messages to babies as it's from the same people that made tellytubbies.

gingerninja · 13/11/2007 19:51

that you're all home Meg

bealcain · 13/11/2007 21:39

Noah is absolutely besotted with ITNG, has been for ages. he wont go to sleep unless hes seen it, or without his iggle, upsy and makka pakka toys. he got the iggle piggle trike for his birthday and we went to the set on his bithday to meet them!

gingerninja · 13/11/2007 21:42

Beal at the set visit. Where is it?

charliemama · 13/11/2007 21:43

CSB I have posted a bit a waffle for you on the other thread. I hope tonight wasn't too stressful and that you are resting now.

Meg: So glad to hear you are all home safe and well.

Right you all ignored my promise of a retelling of my freaky In the Night Garden dream, but I am going to tell you anyway.
Basically was like the Prisoner (the one with guy being chased around by a big balloon), but instead it was me trying to escape a wood and being chased by those big inflatables from In the Night Garden!! What would Freud make of that?!

Ginger: I am thinking DD would like an Iggle Piggle but she is nearly 3, so you think she's too old? She particularly likes Iggle Piggle because he has a blankie like her.

Amber I think your food strategy is by far the best way. I have never made mine eat anything and kept meal times really relaxed and pressure free. Mine eat a really wide range of foods and are quite happy to try new things because they know that they can say if they don't like them.

Not much on here about sleep I notice. I think DS2 is getting a bit better. It's still hard to have a nap routine in the day because of the other 2, and he still wakes 2-3 times in the night. But it feels like things are getting easier.

Hello to everyone else. I am sending you lots of calming sleepy thoughts for your LOs

charliemama · 13/11/2007 21:44

I obvoiusly type far to slowly as I just x posted you. Ginger and Beal.

Beal: Ds2 would lilke to commend you on your great choice of Jude as a name!!!

gingerninja · 13/11/2007 21:53

CM, I'm 34 and not too old for Iggle Piggle

charliemama · 13/11/2007 21:56

I hear what your saying Ginger.
Have you got the singing, moving Iggle Piggle?

RoRoMommy · 13/11/2007 22:13

Goodnight everyone. So sleepy.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

RoRoMommy · 14/11/2007 04:56

Good morning.

Almost glad to be up because this is DS's best time of day. Such a cutie!

Bed at 7:30, dream feed at 11:30 (I went to sleep at 10-ish), feed at 2:40 (I was like, it's only 2:40? It felt like it was at least four), up at 4:40.

Still, can't complain. Though I think I am going to have to start going to sleep at 7:30 with him!

bealcain · 14/11/2007 08:00

we went to the hertfordshire one, but there's loads they use apparently. this was inside, we didn't actally 'see' the garden.

our night ok, bed 6:30, awake 2, df couldn't setlle him so i fed him awake at 4, fed him and then up at 6:30
