Sleep issues

D.C. has in the last 2 months developed issues with sleeping. The routine has not changed. Bed at 7-7.30, read a book and sleep until 6.30-7am.

Recently she's been getting out of bed once I put her down. So I follow the no interaction routine and take her straight back to bed. Sometimes we have to do the routine 4 times before she'll sleep or at worst it's 24 times.

It doesn't help that shortly after this behaviour started she got a cold and a cough. The cough wakes her up at night and it takes 2 hours to settle back to sleep. Doctor won't prescribe anything and it's been 5 weeks with this cough. It's not Covid. She never had a temp or any symptoms other than a cough that only shows up at night when she's lying down.

I don't know what the reason is, but I'm tired and fed up with the whole situation
