How much do your babies nap in the day at 8/9 months?
DS sleeps around 11 hours at night then has two naps in the day totalling around 3 hours. One 2 hour nap and one 1 hour nap. Is this too much day time sleep for his age?

Same here by lb is 8.5 months and has around an hour to an hour and a half nap in a morning- sometimes 2 hours. Then has another hour/ hour and half in the afternoon- all depends how long he slept in the morning, if it was a long sleep then he has a shorter afternoon nap as he will go down later and I always wake by 4.30pm. Nighttime he is in bed/ bedroom from 8pm until usually around 7/8 am.......he doesn’t sleep through, he’s teething at the minute really bad so Christ knows how much he sleeps at night!

That sounds bang on textbook for me. 14hrs from 7months seemed the norm in my baby groyps

That’s good to know it sounds about right. Obviously all babies are different but I have completely forgot it all from DC1. He is so active but he only seems to manage about an hour and a half from getting up for the day until his first nap and like today he had 1 hour 20 mins (waking at 10.30) and has already been rubbing his eyes for a while. Problem is that if he doesn’t have a two hour nap now, he will be awake by 1pm then he will literally fight another nap with every ounce of strength he has so will then be awake until bedtime 💤 😩
