Vicious cycle of over tiredness - what to do?!

My 15w/o DD is showing signs of sleep regression but we never really found a stride with sleep to start. She is breast fed and a few weeks ago was doing a 4-5 hr stretch from 7ish then 2/3 hourly wakings to feed and back down quickly at night which for me was totally manageable. She has never slept for more than 45 mins in the day unless I'm holding her, but she does sleep in next to me cot, sling, pram for that 45 mins. She has 3-4 naps a day. For last week or so night sleep is increasingly erratic- more frequent wakings and only sleeping for 1-2 hours, taking a long time to settle after and also much harder to settle for naps in day. I think she is now chronically overtired and it's a vicious cycle - she needs better day time sleep to help night time sleep and vice versa.

She has a dummy but keeps falling out at night which is another issue.

Please, any advice? I'm feeling v broken at the moment.

Make sure she gets loads of fresh air and sunlight during daylight hours, and try to get her down for a nap every two hours.

Can you try and break the cycle of overtiredness by letting her have some longer than 45 minute naps on you? Until you can find a better solution?
