Moving 5 month old into own room concerns

Hi,

My little boy is now too big for his bedside crib, he's a very long baby, currently wearing 6-9 month clothes. He has started whacking his arms off the sides of the bedside crib and there's only an inch or so above his head in terms of space. Last night I put him in his travel crib (120x60) next to the bed but I've noticed that when we move, he wakes a little and vice versa. I'm a bit scared to move him into his own room though. He's not rolling over, he'll roll to the side and back but in terms of milestones he can sit and keeps trying to stand. He's completely bypassing rolling over it seems. For this reason I'm scared to move him into his own room in case he rolls over and can't roll back. He wears a sleepbag to bed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, we have a camera to watch him. x

Can’t you put him in a cot in your room?

*same question as above

If not, could you go into his room with him? Even just on a camp bed?
