10 month old refusing naps

Hey all,

This is my first message on here so I hope I am doing it right!
I have a 10.5 month old baby boy who is amazing...however he has started refusing his naps, as soon as I put him in his cot he looses it- really crying/screaming! What is going on? How do I fix it? Help 😫😬. He goes to bed at night absolutely fine independently..why are naps such a nightmare?

Hello, just found your thread on search as we are currently having the exact same issues with ours, exactly the same age, too. Bedtime sleep is a dream but oh god, the naps are horrendous! Refusing one or both naps each day, and having to resort to the pram again (haven't had to do this on months!). I've read there is a regression at this age (at every age is sounds like) but I'm interested to know how you got on OP? Did things get back to normal?

I had wondered if it's a nap transition (2 to 1) but most things I read say it's too early for that. Day sleep is such a battle right now I think we'd be quite relieved to drop one in all honesty... Any tips or suggestions welcome!
