Growth spurt 3 months ?

Is there some kind of growth spurt at 3 months which would make my lovely daughter add an extra feed during the night.
Last night I fed her 7oz at 8pm then she went to bed and woke at 2am and had 6oz, then woke AGAIN at 5.30am and had another 5oz!
Not so long ago she was feeding at 8pm then lasting right through until 3/4am then waking again at 6/7 but not wanting a bottle till 9am.
I thought growth spurts only lasted a couple of days but she's been like this for a week now.

Increasing the frequency of daytime feeds (by making feeds closer together during the day) is the best way deal with growth spurts. It lessens the need to take in extra calories through the night.
