I have a three month old and a 2 year old. The 2 year old has started waking in the night every night for hours on end. Sometimes crying / playing / chatting / just generally refusing to go back to sleep no matter what we try. Is this a delayed reaction to the baby? How do I make it stop? He is also a total pain to get to bed in the evening too (but has been for a while). Please help!

My daughter had a sleep delay (no baby) at the two year mark. Lasted about 5 nights, just like you are saying then back to sleep. Think it's a developmental leap or something. Just keep up the routine and ride it out. CakeBrewWine

There is a regression at around two, but could be a delayed response to the baby. Does he nap still?
