baby loves pillow

10mo DS ends up in our bed most nights from 3am onwards. I have woken up to find he has moved himself up so he is sharing my pillow with me and he seems to love it.

Do you think I would be okay putting a little pillow in his cot as he seems to be comfier with one?

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question. He is my PFB.

I can't rememeber when I put a pillow in with my second. I think I waited until he was one purely because of the advice from 'experts' about not putting pillows and duvets in the cot until the baby is a year old. So, to be on the safe side, I would wait a couple of months.

I put a pillow in my DS's cot at 11 months and it was like a miracle! He snuggled down on it and started sleeping right through. Don't think I would have done it at 2 months but there isn't a great deal of difference between a 10 month and 12 month old is there?

If he likes it and uses it, he's ready for one. I just popped one in my DS's bed tonight (13 months) because he's been dragging the bumpers down and using them as pillows, or pulling the extra blanket off the end of his cot and doing the same. As he was put in his bed tonight, he looked up and smiled as if to say "well done, you finally got the idea"

Am about to go and buy one for 13m DD as she uses Ted Ted as a pillow! A friend commented the other day about how well her lo is sleeping now he has one so I am definately going to try. TBH I would have tried earlier but DP is a bit more cautious than me (even with my name )

Oh Oh, was thinking about asking the same question as DD 13 months is settling so much better on a pillow. Are child ones different? She's on quite a big poofy one at the moment and I'm a bit concerned when she flips over onto her tummy that she'll suffocate
