Toddler waking during the night

Hi all

Over the last 3 weeks my 2 year old has been waking up anywhere between 12-2am just wide awake, not crying but ready to start the day. She’s in a bed, but is currently sleeping on the floor (not sure why) but she’s waking up every other night and coming into us. We’re having to go in and sit with her until she goes back to sleep, if we leave her she keeps getting back up. Does anyone have any suggestions please? I’m not putting a stair gate over her door as this won’t solve the issue of her waking up. She does it on days she naps and days she doesn’t, there doesn’t seem to be a theme to it, Thanks x

There's nothing you can do to stop her waking up, apart from making being awake at 1am really boring. So, door shut, in bed, no mummy or daddy. Supernanny back to sleep technique - straight back into bed, and leave her to it.
