Where does your newborn nap?

So DS is one week old today and we're having trouble working out where he should nap during the day. I had a difficult birth and lost a lot of blood so have been specifically advised not to co sleep or have him fall asleep on me and I'm still very aneamic and would likely drop him.

Currently we're bringing the Moses basket down stairs so one of can get some sleep while the other settles him but I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions?

Mines 6 weeks old and naps in the Moses basket, pram, bouncy chair or car seat (this one is I’d weve been out)

Mine always napped in the sling on me while I got on with things.

I had a pop-up travel cot that I kept in the sitting room. I spent most of my time on the sofa in there but my home is open plan downstairs so I could hear her even if I went through to another room.

Either upstairs in her cot if one of us is up there or in the pram downstairs with us if we are downstairs

Dd napped in the sling, Moses basket (swaddled with loud white noise playing) or on the middle of my bed while I tidied/sorted laundry/sat in the armchair reading.

DD slept in the Moses basket which we carried around the house as we went about our business (the same Moses basket that I insisted we wouldn't need and that my DM foisted on us). 1:0 DM.

Mine used to sleep in his moses basket or swing chair downstairs or car seat or pram if we were out and about :D didn't introduce cot naps upstairs until 6 months when I was able to leave him in a different room/when we moved him into his own bedroom (with a video camera and sensor pads) 😍congratulations on your baby xx

I had a crib upstairs and a Moses basket downstairs (both were given to me so I didn't buy both new!) xx
