14 mo starting waking again for feed

Hello. My 14 mo stopped night feeding a long time ago and although he still woke once in the night, we were still getting sleep & felt no longer sleep deprived. Suddenly, he has started crying around 5am and seems uncomfortable. He will only settle with a bottle so that's what we've been doing as it allows us at least 2 hours longer in bed. To be honest I don't really mind much but I'm just wondering why he might be waking. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Could it be a growth spurt?

Teething, ear infection, hearing a noise.... if you gove him a bottle, he is going to keep waking up for it as you are setting up a routine for him to wake up then. Can you gut out a few nights of shusshing or just some water in a cup?

5am isn't a night waking, it's morning, lots of toddlers naturally wake at 5am for breakfast. Does he have blackout curtains/blinds in his room?

@Avery7 yes but he hasn't done before. He's not fully awake he just seems uncomfortable in his sleep and winey x
