Should I continue with swaddling?

Swaddled 12 wk old about 5 days ago after her sleep got progressively worse as she was waking every 2 or 3 hrs and I don't think it was from hunger. First 3 nights of swaddling she slept from 7.30pm to 2am, 4am and 5am. But for the last 2 night she has woken again every 2 or 3 hours and seems to be waking because she is trying to get out of the swaddle. Should I continue and hope once she realises it is going to continue that she will sleep on? I am wits end as she doesn't sleep in the day very well either and just seems to be crying lots again after seeming to get better. I have found myself crying lots too. Pls help.

Hi Lisa,

I used to swaddle my DD but she too began to get really unhappy as she did not like to have her arms restricted. I put into a dreampod and this seemed to do the trick. Hope this helps!
