Hi all, i have a 5yr old dd and 22month ds. dd sleeps perfectly, ds a different matter! had only 20 full nights sleep since his traumatic birth, he goes to bed/sleep in own bed in own bedroom no problem. headbangs for 2 -3 hrs during night, whilst asleep, wakes at 4.30 screaming for up to 2 hrs!! i'm desperate!
tried cc, warm milk, music, story tapes, singing (!!) and now have run out of ideas.
he sometimes has 40mins -1hr naps in own bed during day but not always now. doesn't seem to make any difference.
can anyone help?

Wow - you poor thing - no direct experience but posted for a friend who's 1 year old won't sleep.

Hope someone will come along soon with good advice and I'll eavesdrop (if I may) so I can pass on the tips.

Some lovely poster mentioned that you can get a sleep counsellor through the GP as it sounds like sleep is a real trial for him (as no sleep is a real trial for you).
