Help? Is it too hot?

It is 18 degrees outside and my baby's room is 24 degrees currently, he is just in a babygro with no covers on. Usually I will put a sleep bag on him as well but I think he will be too hot with even a 1 tog on, but I feel bad that he is sleeping without anything covering him?
Is sleeping with just a baby grow and no covers okay? We aren't used to the heat in this house it's generally a cold house due to being big and old!!!

I'm sure he'll be fine with baby grow and no covers. He'll let you know if he gets cold.

Take his temperature?

He'll be fine in just a baby grow, or even just a vest at 24. Babies will wake if they get too cold, if they are too hot they tend to be harder to rouse which can be a risk as they might not wake if they get stuck face down for example. Always err on the cooler side.

When DD was a baby in this kind of heat I usually put her just in a nappy with a light blanket over the top.
