Cot

My daughter is nearly 7 months old and since around 4 months she has been in her cot due to outgrowing it.

She slept through 12 hours from 4 weeks up until the move. She goes down by herself at 7/8 every night with very little fuss, however from the minute she goes down she wakes up every hour. I can settle her by putting her dummy back in until 1 o’clock and from there I cannot put her down in her cot. The whole crying out thing doesn’t work and she does this going to bed so I can’t see why she wouldn’t be able to self settle in the night?

The only place she will have a half decent night sleep is in her pram!! It seems she likes to be enclosed, I’ve tried a sleeping bag/swaddle and neither work.

Any suggestions? 🤯

I’ve got a nuna travel cot which is smaller than a normal cot or travel cot with a bassinet setting. The brighter coloured cots are cheaper.

If your pram is safe for overnight sleeping you could continue to use that. Have you tried putting it in the cot? Although that didn’t work for me

I’ve just had a look on the internet at these, I didn’t even know they existed so thank you, I just don’t want to spend lots of money for it not to work but at the moment anything for some sleep lol

We use a SleepyHead, not sure if that will be of use? At your DD's age she would probably have the smaller of the two

Our DD always sleeps extremely well with the SleepyHead and for only about half the time without it i.e naps at grandparents in the cot there and at nursery
