My 20 month old daughter sleeping habits have changed. She would usually have a 2 hour nap 12-2 and then go to bed 6:30-7 and get up about 7am. She's always slept at least 12 hours solid.

Since going back to nursery after lockdown she only naps for 1hour. She is usually the first to wake up so it's not like the noise of others up and about is waking her. She's then really shattered and bedtime has been between 6.15-6:45 but then wakes at 6am. Which seems right as it's 12 hours ish!

I know that 6am isn't that early really but it's a change in my daughters sleeping pattern.

Do you think that she needs to go to bed nearer 7pm so that 12 hrs takes us to 7am? She will be so tired in the evening as will have been awake from 1-7?

Any thoughts/tips?

Given the change to a shorter nap at nursery, I probably wouldn't push bedtime later, at least not yet. It might be that as she settles into nursery mire her sleep changes again.
