Sleeping bag for naps?

That’s it really.

Do you use a sleeping bag for nap times during the day or just at night?

LO has a good nighttime routine (we sleep trained) which involves being put in her sleeping bag, as a cue that it’s nighttime...But we don’t use for naps and wonder if we are missing a trick.

Thanks

What age are they? I always used a sleeping bag for naps and night time as I was paranoid about blankets/duvet until they were older. Except for when they were very tiny and just napped in your arms or the pram etc.

Thank you. I’m not quite sure why we have limited to nighttime only...Shes 7mo...

Yes I did with all 3 of mine as I used it as a symbol to prompt sleep.

Quackersandcheese3 · 27/07/2020 11:06

Yes I used them.

I use them for naps too, but only if they’re not wearing extra layers already. The cot is the main sleep prompt here really.

I used them for all naps. Part of the going to sleep routine.

Thank you for everyone that commented...No idea what I was thinking! Will introduce sleep bags into day naps as well - and hopefully it will make it less of a battle to get her down for those naps (nights are fine)
Thank you!
