6 month old night feedings

My baby has started sleeping with a dummy since about 5 months old as during the heat wave it was the only thing that worked but now he wakes up if it falls out and sometimes he will only go back to sleep if fed.
Should I continue feeding a 6 month old during the night or is it time to drop the night feed and just continue settling with other methods even if it isn't as effective?
He only has 1 bottle a night but at this rate I'm just never seeing that bottle being dropped

My 8 month old has at least 2 small feeds a night and if I try to fob him off with a cuddle he just screams louder!

It's hard to say without knowing what else he's having in the day, fine of last feeds at .
Address feed out 2 at about midnight if their last feed was 6ish, we don't if it was say 8ish but if they wake in the night and won't settle I feed them

You can be dropping night feeds at 6 months old if you have an alternate settling method (ie the dummy).

Just ensure you fit that extra feed in during the daytime (rather than assuming it just isnt needed). So make feeds closer together in the day to fit an extra bottle in.
