Hello

I wonder if anyone can help reassure me/advise me. I have a history of anxiety and, more specifically, health anxiety So it’s difficult for me to know when I am being OTT.

My 25 month old has gone to bed this afternoon and this evening and is sweating profusely to the point he has small beads of sweat on his skin and his clothes/the bed is wet. The room is warm but not hot and he went to bed in a short and T-shirt pj set just as I have.

He was playing fine all day today but is a fussy eater at the moment and it’s hard to get him to eat full meals. I’ve convinced myself he has a low blood sugar or something?

Any words of wisdom appreciated!

Mine was always dripping in sweat until we switched to 100% cotton sheets, it made a massive difference.

Funny enough my mum just messaged back to see if the sheets were nylon..thank you!

My 3 year old is very sweaty too, not sure how common this is, I've never thought about it. Just joining the conversation to find out if it is something I need to worry about.

DS is 2.5, he is a sweaty beast most of the time but it appears to cause no issues for him. Often wet hair in bed and a damp pillow, specially after a daytime nap. He was a sweaty baby too.
He'll also have sweat running off him in the park. He's always got a normal temperature when I check but I guess he just runs hot. Not surprised as he NEVER stl during waking hours.

My 5 year old was a sweaty baby, a sweaty toddler and is now a sweaty child!

My child is an extremely sweaty sleeper. Sometimes she’s completely dripping. It’s always in the 1st hour after she’s gone to sleep and I worry she’ll get cold in the middle of the night. Ive worried about it a bit too but I think it’s fairly normal.
