Why does this keep on happening?

Hi all

Help!!! Every single morning my 6 month old gets SO fidgety and restless from 5am onwards. He's not ready to wake up and clearly still wants to sleep. I spend 90% of the time between 5am and his wake up (usually between 7-8am) settling him back to sleep, patting his bum and he sometimes even sleeps on my chest for this time. But it's exhausting and I'm not quite sure why it keeps happening or how to stop it. He's like clockwork, it's usually always just after 5am.

What's this all about?!!

Is it dark enough in his room? Is he too cold?

I’m in the same boat!

I read somewhere that around this time our natural cortisol levels begin to rise, preparing us to wake up.
My 9month DS does exactly the same and 50% of the time I have him in with me till 7 when he wakes up happy.
Maybe it's that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Is he hungry? :/ would a dream feed help settle him perhaps?

I always brought mine in with me at 5 and they’d sleep again til 7.
