I've held off from posting as I held hope this would be a phase but a few weeks of 5.30am wake ups is draining me.
There is the risk she is just 'one of those' early risers however I'm holding onto hope she is not Grin

DD2 is 14 months old, has 2 naps a day (on a good day) and generally doesn't have issues getting herself off to sleep and her room is as dark as I can get it. Her day these days tends to look like this:

5.30-5.45am- wake up, I leave for as long as possible without pissing off the neighbours (she kicks her cot repeatedly)
5.45-6am- up and 7oz bottle
6.30am- breakfast
9am- Nap 1. Will play in her cot for a short while then go to sleep, normally by 9.30am
10.30am- I have to go and wake or fear she'll have way too much and not have PM nap
11am- lunch
12pm- 7oz bottle
1.30pm-2pm- Nap 2. Sometimes she'll not have this, sometimes she does. Will wake around 3.30pm
4.30pm- Dinner
6.30pm- In bed after bath routine and 8oz bottle

Are we in the realms of trying one nap now Confused or a later bedtime?

I had one of those and then around 12 months he dropped to one 2 hour nap at 12. He goes to bed much later than your daughter though - 8.30 now in the summer. Be he will sleep until 7 sometimes even later if we're lucky! Had a 7.15am wake up today. It's bliss!

We had a month or two of waking up at 5:30 when she was 9-10 months. Now she is 11 months and she still occasionally wakes up super early but usually goes back to sleep after a short feed or nappy change. With us I think the problem was that she was getting too much sleep during the day plus had an early bedtime (7.30pm). I know that's not early but with the 2 naps lasting 1h30 each, that bedtime was early for us. Now she goes to sleep at 8.30pm and wakes at 6.30am, which is more acceptable. Especially after a night of 2-3 wake-ups - she still doesn't sleep through the night sniff*

Thanks both.

I suppose I can't have everything, she sleeps through the majority of the time so maybe I just have to suck up the early morning rising.
I am considering a slightly later bedtime now though as this morning was a later wake up after going to bed much later than normal last night due to being out for the evening.
