Settling for sleep.. nightmare

Please help!

My 10 month old has been a dream self settling for sleep most of his little life, the past month he has turned in to a monster!

I now have to cuddle him to sleep every night which I really don’t mind doing but this results in more wake ups in the night. As soon as he’s in his cot he screams whether I’m there or not, unless I’m holding his hand which sometimes works.

Iv tried to introduce a comforter but he doesn’t take to anything so tips with that would be great. He’s gone from settling well in under 15mins all alone to last night taking 2 hours 😩😩 please help

Also meant to say, not in to CC as I’ve tried it and it’s broken me.

I'm struggling with my 10 month old too!! He's always been great at self settling/sleeping but the past few weeks it's as if he's forgotten how!
Mine doesn't really scream/cry, he just takes hours to settle as if he can't fall asleep.
Following this to see if you get any advice I can try too! X
