When to drop the dreamfeed?

I have an 8.5 month baby who has goes down at 7, dream feed at 9.30 and then another feed between 3-5 and wakes for the day between 6 and 7.

My question is, when should I try and drop the dreamfeed? Is it OK to just keep on going with it? It doesn't have a massive effect on me in lockdown but I guess at some point I'll want to go out for an evening and not be back by 9.30!

She is EBF (4 or 5 daytime feeds) on 3 solid meals a day.

Thank you in advance x

Keep going as long as she’ll take it or as long as you want to. Mine both naturally weaned themselves off the dream feed around 10 months, though they were bottle fed. They just started drinking less and less so I dropped the feed to see what would happen and they slept on through and never looked back!

I still dream feed at 21 months, however I'm a single, lone parent who adores co-sleeping and doesn't have another person in the bed (or in my life) to worry about. Do it until it no longer works for you?
