My nearly 7 month old started to roll over in his cot about a month ago. He is a strong boy and capable of rolling himself back, turning head etc....
But about 4-5 time a night he’s waking up on his tummy with his head up making liking a straining noise??? He only stops when one of us goes to him and either rolls him on his back or i breastfeed him to sleep.
I feel sooo tired and at a loss what to do. is this just a phase? Pre- rolling he was doing 6-7 hour stretches.
Any advice? X

Yes, it's just a phase.

Encourage him to be happy on his front with lots of tummy-time play.

@BabySleepTeacherUK- Thank you! We’re on about week 3 now, I know every baby is different with phases and how long they last.

We do lots of tummy time in the day so will continue that in the hope it Improves things a bit at night xx

My LO is 4 months and doing exactly the same! It’s so frustrating because I’ve seen him roll back to front before but he just won’t at night. And if I roll him back, he just Rolls back on to his tummy and complaining again!!

Watching with interest to see if anyone has any advice :)
