4 month regression?

Hello,
my daughter is 4 month (18 weeks to be precise) and this past week/10 days she has been fussy, hardly sleeping in day although not waking in the night and seems to suddenly be draining her 7oz bottles?! I’ve upped her to 8oz and tried to get her sleeping more in day but nothing pleases her most of day! Is it the regression Just with sleeping at night? Teething? Growth spurt? What were the signs of regression for your child?

Any advice welcome!

My baby is 18 weeks too and experiencing all the same minus sleeping at night.

Hell on earth is what it is.

Also make your daytime feeds closer together, so there are more feeds per day.

This is because baby's stomach volume is a limiting factor in how much baby can take in one go. But it might be that baby needs more milk over the whole 24h period and the way to achieve that is by more feeds per day (so either more night feeds, which you dont want, or more frequent daytime feeds).

To give an example:

(1) 7oz Bottles 4h plus two night feeds:

7am 11am 3pm 7pm + 2 night feeds = 6*7=42oz in 24h

(2) Same but 8oz bottles

7am 11am 3pm 7pm + 2 night feeds = 6*8=48oz in 24h

(3) 8oz bottles every 3h plus 2 night feeds

7am 10am 1pm 4pm 7pm + 2 night feeds = 7*8=56oz in 24h

(4) Two hourly daytime feeds and a dreamfeed only

7am 9am 11am 1pm 3pm 5pm 7pm 11pm = 8*8=64oz in 24h
