Low heartbeat

Is a heartbeat of 48 BPM ok for a sleeping 3 year old? I just wanted to check what other parents thought. Am I over reacting thinking it's a bit low?

Why are you checking their heart rate in the first place?

You need to check with a medical professional. For for information, my 47 year old husband (who's a regular runner so very physically fit) has a resting heart rate between 45-50.

My normal resting heart rate is between 39-45 but I run a lot so have a very naturally low heart rate.
A quick google search says a normal resting heart rate of a 1-3year old is between 70-110.
I would run this by the doctor next time you are there, especially with the history of seizures

Thank you for taking the time to reply and even do a google search. I will call his nurse in the morning. I knew it was low but not sure if I needed to be concerned or not. I feel like i worry about every little thing. I so much just want him to be well.
