Sleep talking at 8 months?

Sooooo my 8 month old daughter was babbling in her sleep a few minutes ago. It had scared me to hear it the monitor because she's never done it before. All things "google" say sleep talking doesn't start until the age of two or close to.

Has this happened to anyone else's child so early?????

My daughter was doing this at 8 months, and she still does it now. She's 20! Mostly it's just laughing in her sleep. Other times she'll call out to me or her dad, and when we go to her room she'll babble for a minute and then laugh. It's actually quite funny!

My DS laughs in his sleep. It's so cute. He's 11 months old.
She must be having some lovely dreams Grin

Oh good. So its normal! Lol. Google said baby's don't dream until a certain age but I don't believe it lol

Google is full of bull! My DS wakes up screaming from a bad dream sometimes.
