New born gro bags

DS used one from 6 months old as they didnt have tiny baby ones then. He can't sleep without it.

Is it worth it for a newborn? Anyone had any experience of using them?

we bought a newborn one and she used it for about 6 wks. She was a wiggly baby and used to kick off her covers so the growbag was great as it meant that we knew she was warm.

Dd was a summer babe, so we swaddled her in light muslins till she was 3 months old and autumn arrived and I put her in a 3-6 month grobag. She was a champion sleeper, but no idea if that was the grobag or not. I liked it because she would have wriggled out of blankets and our house is cold.

I guess that first grobag only lasted 3 months, but then we got a 6-18 month one and now she's in an 18month-3year one (She's 2). So we haven't needed to buy that many.
