13 weeks - sleep and feeding

Hello

So quite similar to my last post (apologies).

The last few nights I have not woken her up for the dream feed. She has woken herself between 12.30/1am and taken a good feed. The problem I have is then she wakes up about 5.30/6am wide awake and very hard to re settle back to sleep to 7am. We aim for a 7 - 7 day.

If I wake for the dream feed we normally do 10.30pm then between 3/4am then wake around 7am. Which for me seems to work better as I feel more rested.

I don't want to keep changing so do I introduce a dream feed again or let her keep waking naturally. I don't want 5.30/6 to become a habit.

She is down to sleep by 7pm.

Thank you in advance 😊

I haven't read your previous post, but if doing the dream feed means you all get more rest, then keep going with it!

My DD is older than yours (nearly 19 weeks) but has finally got the hang of a dream feed and has ~4oz. The last couple of nights she's settled after night wakings without a feed, but sometimes she's hungry in the night and that's fine too. I'll only try to reduce the dream feed once she's reliably sleeping through.

@PeacefulInTheDeep what time do you do your dream feed?

I usually do the dream feed at 10 or a little after, right before I go to sleep. Like you, we aim for a 7-7 day.
