Advice / encouragement needed re dd....cc etc

she is 7mo

been on solids for a month

now 3 meals a day and in 2nd stage weaning foods

have always fed her about 10:30pm. she has usually woken for it. for last 2 moths this has been a formula feed to try and fill her up a bit as was waking very often in night.

last week she has woken for this feed but only taken 3-4oz. ...

now, please correct me if you think i'm wrong, but i reckon that if she is waking from hunger that she would drink more than this. so she must be waking out of habit... can't be hungry?

i'm going on and on, sorry. she's crying upstairs and i'm leaving her. am i doing right thing?

Have you spotted this active thread
full of encouragement but also words of caution for someone
in a similar position?

From what you describe you seem to have the hunger angle
covered. For us it was a similar story and we, too, only dared
to cut out the final night feed at 7 months.

thanks. been up to her 3 times. brushed my lips over her face and she didn't turn to feed any of the times. think she has gone quiet now... only 45 mins!!?

For first time cc 45 minutes is pretty good.

Feeling fine thanks. Didn't have to really go through this with ds. The night i decided to start cc with him he decided to sleep through of his own accord!
