DC in same room or separate?

Had an offer accepted on a house pre lockdown, now 6 months pregnant and just hoping to get in before DD arrives. We eventually want to extend/renovate but for the time being are happy to paint and carpet/Lino for the first year or two.

Technically it's a 5 bedroom house, middle floor has 2 decent rooms and a box room and attic has 2 small rooms with sloping ceilings.

We have a 15 month old DS. DD will be in our room for first 6 months.

Would you then put DC in together and use box room as study, or DS in decent room, DD in box room and study in small attic room?

I think I'd make the box room the nursery so you're all on the same floor whilst the kids are still young. You can always change things around when they're older.
