My baby is 7 months old today. Not been a dream sleeper but with perseverance we managed to get her going 7-7 or so with an occasional feed/dummy run. Bliss.

A couple of night ago she wake up at 3 and so I fed her. She then proceeded to cry her eyes out on and off for 2 hours until she fell asleep in my arms. Same thing last night except it was 12-2 then 4-6. She looks like she wants to fall asleep but everytime she is on the brink, she starts thrashing and shaking her head and crying.

Any thoughts? I'm tired.

Has she cut any teeth yet? If not then teething certainly could be a reason. She could also be poorly - for example ear ache or sore throat are not always visible or obvious in babies but will cause pain.

@FATEdestiny thank you for replying. No teeth yet but also not many signs of teething except she is very fussy when she feeds and pulls on and off.

I'm going in, feeding her in the night, cuddling her, sitting with her and then take her in with me at 5am. I'm worried I am undoing all my hard work 😭
