How much should a 1 month old Sleep for ?

How much should a 1 month old EBF baby sleep for during the day ?

There's a guide on the NHS website, google "NHS how much sleep do children need". It's quite a lot!

At this age they probably shouldn't be awake for more than about an hour or so at a time. I dont think there is a difference between EBF and formula fed in terms of sleep requirements.

In the first 6-12weeks baby should basically just wake for a feed and if a nappy change is needed. Aside from that, baby is/mostly sleeping.
