2 year old nap needed?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew the affects of a 2 year old not having a nap? He spends 3 weekends a month with his father, who point blank refuses to co parent and will only do things the way he wants to. I try to keep the peace as much as I physically can. I've just found out that he's not been giving DS naps in the day time, he will nap 1-2 hours in the afternoon with me. My concern is how this will affect his development or if him going 2 days a week without a nap would be fine?

It won't affect his development at all, your ex might end up with a grouchy toddler but he will be fine. Lots of 2 year olds don't nap at all in the daytime, mine didn't.

Thank you, that's a sigh of relief :)
