Just chill baby 0-5 months

Has anyone used this and was it worth it? Going through a rough patch with 4 month old, he’s always fed to sleep but is now taking the entire evening to settle. Sometimes won’t settle in the cot so we give up and co sleep which hadn’t happened until recently! Just feel desperate for a bit more routine and better sleep and naps.

I used just chill mama 10-18...I didn’t follow religiously but principles helped me and my baby sleeps well now!

Thanks for your reply! Did it involve leaving the baby to cry at all? I wish there was a bit more info to read about what it actually entails before I buy it!

I’ve been thinking about using her but not sure if it’s best to wait until I move him into his own room at 6 months!

Ha I felt the same! Couldn’t find Put anything about it!A bit of crying but not much you do what you are Comfortable with. It helped with me the routine and I guess maybe being a bit more confident. My baby is 14 months now and sleeps through the night (he did this once I stopped BFing him in the night) x

@E899 yeah I have decided against the 0-5 month course as my boy is over 4 months now. Will just see how we get on til 6 months and give in then if still no joy I think!

@LL82 that is positive! Yeah I was thinking about breastfeeding and how it affects sleep but I really don’t want to stop yet.

He is only 4 months! Of course carry on!! I only stopped as he kind of weaned himself! He was 13 months! And he still has a feed before bed but I do need to stop that soon. All the best x

@Ll82 Oh I will thank you I think it was just one of those desperate 3AM thoughts!

OP my DS is 5 and a half months and formula fed. He still wakes up for a middle of the night feed which I think is normal.

I followed the a Little Ones method. It was great in terms of giving a routine and lots of resources but I think all the 'sleep training' programmes follow the same principles of settle, leave, go back, resettle etc and can be flexed depending on what you're comfortable with.

I followed it but in my opinion his day naps and overnight sleep dramatically improved as he hit 5 months and came out of the 4 month leap. So I'm pretty certain if I did nothing, I'd still have the same result as I reckon it was developmental.

If you want some tips and routine/structure then something like this is helpful but I'm not convinced it's all it's cracked up to be!
