Is it worth sleep training (CC) for early morning waking in 10 month old?

Would like some advice from those with experience please. 10 month old wakes anywhere from 5.15 onwards. Last week he did two days of waking at 7 and it made a huge difference to how we both were. I don't think he's waking from hunger, he now sleeps in his own room with blackout blinds (there are a few chinks of light at the edges though). He seems tired when he wakes.
Routine is roughly:
Feed and breakfast from 7
Nap at 9.30, 1-1.5 hours
Lunch at 11.30
Nap at 1.30, maybe 45 minutes to 1.5 hours
Feed when wakes
Dinner at 5
Bedtime routine when seems fussy, usually asleep at 7.30 to 8

I hold him to sleep. He might wake once in the evening, especially if he's gone to sleep earlier than 7.30, and may sleep through till the morning or may wake once from 2300 to 0500.
I can't really go to bed much earlier. I'm already struggling to have dinner, maybe unwind and wash my hair or do housework etc after he's gone to bed. And when I start at work again I'll need him to sleep a bit more so I can get ready in the morning before waking him, otherwise it's going to be super stressful.
I have done a bit of gentle training before and we did a week of CC at around 7 months which helped him link his sleep cycles so no longer waking 4 times a night.
I need that bit more sleep. I'm on antidepressants but really I know consistently having 8 hours is actually what I need, not tablets.
Have tried porridge before bed, socks on over baby grow, shifting bedtime etc.
Do I do CC again (I like holding him to sleep and don't want to let him cry if it's not going to help with this specific problem) or try it for the morning wake ups?
Do I cut down the morning nap for a few days?

Thanks in advance,

I'd cut the morning nap to 30 minutes 9.30-10am
Afternoon nap 1pm and awake by 3.
Move lunch and tea a bit later and give snacks mid morning and mid afternoon.

If he wakes before 6.30 I'd try bringing him in to your bed to doze at least.

Thank you!
I'll give your suggestions a go inc cutting the morning nap. I've been reluctant because it's his best nap and it gives me a rest.
@choosesoap good luck with your early mornings. It's a bit easier now it's beautifully sunny and I know sleep could be a lot worse but I just really need that extra hour to feel ok, and think he needs it too. He used to wake up smiling, I miss that.
