Nap time

Does anyone else have a baby that just doesn't like napping in the day? I have been told by the health visitor I am doing everything right and it could just be the way my little man is. But I can clearly see when he is tired and he just won't sleep.

In the morning I go for a walk with him in the carrier 1.5 hours after he wakes up and he goes to sleep like a dream. He'll sleep maybe 1.5/2 hours. Then the rest of the day is a lottery. Today he wouldn't sleep in the buggy, walking up and down in the flat. Or when we went on a lil walk in the carrier. Most of the time he is happy but sometimes he gets really grumpy but I just can't make him sleep!

We do get the occasional 20 min boob nap when feeding btw but not always. Just want some reassurance that other babies do this too? He is 12 weeks today

My DS has days where he resists napping. We’ve actually found he’s better being put down with a dummy and white noise. Then even if he doesn’t sleep, he’s definitely resting for a bit
