I don’t currently have any structure to my DDs daytime napping, if she seems tired then I let her sleep, I don’t let her go for more than 4hrs between feeds. She sleeps well at night, generally 2000ish to 0600ish.
Should I be starting to structure her naps during the day?
After her 2nd day time bottle we go for a walk (anytime between 10-11) and she will usually sleep for an hour or so after that, other times she just seems to cat nap through out the day.
Should I be trying to get her to sleep for longer periods less often through the day?
Or is it okay to just let her sleep when she seems tired?
Sometimes she falls asleep by herself, other times she gets a bit cranky and we have a cuddle and she sleeps.
I’ve done some googling, and I’m pretty sure she sleeps enough throughout the 24hr period.

That all sounds excellent to me! Good night sleeping, going down for naps by herself, you've got a great sleeper there! At 3 months naps are still all over the place, i wouldn't worry about a routine, just focus on getting the gaps right and reading her cues. She'll get more regular as she gets bigger.

All babies are so different so no-one on mumsnet could possibly answer these questions for you accurately I'm afraid - they don't know your individual child. I'd say go with your gut instinct. I'm sorry if that wasn't what u want to hear. What works for one child doesn't work for another.

I have a 5 month old who I have not yet got into any routine and let her sleep when she seems to want to. I have no idea if I’m doing the right thing.. but all I can say is that she’s the happiest baby I could possibly imagine, never grumpy, sleeps well at night, meeting all her developmental milestones.. so I say run with it if it works for you and them!

@firstimemamma that is the least helpful comment I’ve ever had.
Why bother posting.
