My 14 week old is sleeping soundly 10-12 hours through the night (I am not complaining) however he's leaking and overflowing every night! He wears pampers size 2 and they're brilliant in the day but at night because he's going so long they just don't do the job - I change him right before he goes down I've even tried size 3 and he still fills them! He is my first, does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

I’ve been having the exact same problem with my 16 week old DS.
He was also wearing pampers size 2 and soaking through them! Last night I tried a size 3 pampers nappy pant and we didn’t have any leaks!

Hoping it continues and wasn’t just a lucky fluke 🤞🤞🤞

Try a 3+ nappy.

The plus means they are more absorbent.

We had the same problem with Pampers!

We used Asda nappies at night, they never leak (unless it’s an absolute monster that no mortal nappy could contain)

Pinkblueberry · 06/05/2020 17:59

Have you tried the + sizes? They have greater absorption.

Try pampers baby dry they tend to work better at nights... or if you need to do a quick change in the night if you feed.

Babypug · 06/05/2020 18:14

Sorry just seen the age... we defiantly changed the nappy when baby woke for feed and then put them back down. You get good at doing speed changes 🙌🏼

Is he in a tight vest/bodysuit? I found that if DS wears tighter stuff he's more likely to leak through his nappies.

We found: looser pjs, helped. Also we found Sainsbury’s own brand a lot less leaky than pampers, and the + nappies.
