7 month Sleep training .. advise please

hi,
my baby girl is 7month and i am wanting her to self soothe ... she is a clingy baby she only settles when on me or when she is breastfeeding. the problem i am having at the moment is when she wakes in the night she doesn't settle back down, i have to pick her up give her boob or get her in bed with me. i am a softie in the day i cant leave her to moan and when i leave the room she has a meltdown.
Any tips how to get out of this habit?

Following! My little boy is the same. Only sleeps on me in the day and at night starts off in his cot but by 10pm he wakes as soon as put down no matter how many times I try. So he spends rest of night sleeping on me or next to me, but still wakes every 2 hours at least.
I’m exhausted x

Have you had a look at gentle sleep training techniques?

How is she at being by herself during the day? We found that once DD was happy having a play by herself for half an hour, it was much easier for her to settle at night.
