Hi can anyone give me advice?

What duvet tog rating is suitable for a 2.5 yr old and a 5 year old?

Thanks in advance!

i was told by the little white company that young children can't regulate their temperature as well as adults so a 4.5 tog duvet would be the most suitable for them. You could also put a blanket on the bed for the 5 year old so that if it is cold they can pull it over themselves.

i've also heard that a 4.5 tog is best.

Must admit - if I had that I'd freeze, but ds who is now 6 seems fine.

i can't cope with anything more than 4.5 tog myself- so the kids get the same! we have a very warm house though

DS1 has a 10 tog in the winter, 4.5 in summer (he's 3 yrs)

DS2 (nearly 1) has a 2.5 tog sleeping bag and sleeps under our 4.5 tog duvert. But he's always been a cold tattie

dd has 10tog in winter and 4.5tog in summer (although with the pitiful summer we've had this year in Scotland we never changed to the lighter one). ds is in his 2.5tog grobag with sleepsuit underneath.

sorry, dd is almost 4
