My son used to be a great sleeper (slept through 10-12 hours). He is now 10 months old and since 8 moths old we have been trying him in his own room, he has slept through twice in there.

He has 2 naps a day which usually last 1-2 hours and has a bath / bottle at bedtime
and is usually settled asleep at 8:30. He then usually wakes 2/3 times for short periods and fully wakes around 1:00am and ends up in our room for a cuddle and back to sleep in a travel cot in our room, he then may wake a couple of times for short periods or sleep through until 6:00-7:00.

He eats well and has 3 x 7-8oz bottles a day and also 3 meals of breakfast / dinner / tea.

Just wondering if anyone else is having similar problems or if anyone has any tips for getting him to have a more settled night in his own room.

Thanks Smile

I think consistency is the key. Even if he wants to go to your room in the night, don't give in.
Also, maybe an earlier night time would be better? I read that babies naturally want to sleep 7-7 so 8:30 could be a bit too late.
