Put lo to bed at 7:30 (he's 21 weeks) woke after 30 minutes bang on the second. Replace dummy and back off to sleep. back up at 8:40, dummy again, asleep again. Annnd back up at 10:40, dummy in, dummy out..continue this and patting for over an hour. Sod this I'll cuddle him. Cuddle to sleep, pop him down, half hour later BAM! Up again. Ffs. Bugger it, teething gel, calpol and milk. Sleepy baby. Then Decides to have a shit, in.his.sleep. 1:10am by this point. Your having a laugh! Change him, great, he's shit all over his baby grow, and his sleeping bag, oh wait, and bottom sheet in my bed!! Fml I just want to sleeeeep!!! Now I'm sat cuddling him BACK to sleep. The joys of motherhood hey Grin I remember the 'popping the dummy back in' days' it's a nightmare 😂
There's only one way to go. Get rid of it now or pop it back in till he can do it himself. I just dealt with it. It was hard work though.

Yep 🙈 haha I was tortured with a non sleeper first time around, I thought they said you never get two the same ? 🤔🤔

Do you have a dummy clip? I found that since putting my ds dummy on a clip, he is able to do it himself 75% of the time.

He is 8mo and he only has his dummy now at nap/night time.

I am so with you though. Last week I had a howler of a night, similar to you! Poo, leakage. Change sheets. Then try and settle him back to sleep. After being up numerous times....

Yeah @Peanut55 we have a dummy strap, where do you attach it at night? Sleepless nights alongside home schooling, I'm sure my kids are trying to kill me off 😫

Just a bit lower than his nipple.

Luckily I only have one child, if I had to homeschool another simultaneously I would have been pulled all of my hair out.
