Too much to eat before bed?

My 7mo has spent pretty much every night of the last couple of weeks screaming at bedtime. Literally the moment you put her down or even as you move her away from your shoulder to lower her, she isn't just crying, she is howling and balling her eyes out. So instantly pick her up. (I also have a 3yo, so conscience I don't want to disturb her). She will fall asleep easily after being picked up but unless you hold her for ages until she is in a deep sleep, there is no way you can put her down. We will repeat this process 2/3/4 times as she wakes then after 30-45 mins but then does sleep through to the morning.
She settles fine for her naps on her own, her routine hasn't changed.
She has no fever, so I have ruled out illness and it can't all be down to teething to go on this long.
So I wondered if perhaps she is having too much to eat too close to bedtime and is uncomfortable?
She has 6oz formula at 4, tea at 5 and another 6oz bottle before bed at 7.
We are BLW, so hard to guage how much she is eating versus what is one the floor!
Any thoughts, ideas?

Have you tried giving the last milk feed at the start of her bedtime routine? We do milk before bath, which works well for us. Milk at 6ish, Bath at 6.15 ish, bed at 7ish. Smile
