My daughter's breathing stops a lot when she sleeps

My DD is 19mo and I've noticed a few nights ago that she tends to stop breathing when asleep. So I've been taking her into our bed and monitoring to see if it happens again and how often etc. I probably shouldn't have done that because now I'm really panicking. I've read up about it and it comes up with sleep apnea, really common in children apparently. BUT... it also says that it should be happening a few times within one hour but she does this almost every 5 minutes or even less.. Breathing stops for between 5-15ish seconds then back to normal. No other symptom of sleep apnea from what I've read. Is this normal? Should I be worried? I obviously can't take her to see anyone until all this is over so thought I'd post on here to see if anyone here has had any experience with this in their children?

I think you should call 111 to see what they say. Do not delay getting this looked to - CV is not impact emergency pediatric services.
